Position: Insurance Follow Up Specialist

Compensation: $20 - $27 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

As an Insurance Follow Up Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in managing accounts and liaising with insurance companies. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a knack for investigation and exceptional communication skills. Be part of a team that values precision and efficiency in the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Follow up with insurance companies for prompt payment
• Investigate and resolve payment delays
• Manage accounts independently
• Handle confidential information responsibly
• Document actions taken on accounts clearly
• Work with teams to ensure EDI information accuracy
• Answer inquiries within 48 hours
• Process denials according to policy

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• One year of healthcare-related experience
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance
• Experience with Medicare online system
• Strong customer service background
• Excellent communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with payer portals
• Proven organization skills
• Good investigative skills
