Accounts Payable Specialist

Position: Accounts Payable Specialist

Compensation: $22 - $26.50 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Lenexa, Kansas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team!

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Validate invoices against vendor contracts
• Monitor vendor payment terms and parked documents
• Review purchase orders and memos for accuracy
• Adhere to Accounts Payable processes and approvals
• Update Purchasing Card system workflows and authorizations
• Coordinate with Procurement to resolve discrepancies
• Identify and prevent potential fraudulent activities

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Two years’ experience in a Finance-related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines under fluctuating workloads

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with SAP or similar ERP system
• Direct experience in processing vendor invoices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
