Accounts Payable Analyst

Position: Accounts Payable Analyst

Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Houston, Texas

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Manage full cycle of accounts payable, from data entry to check runs
• Ensure all PO invoices match purchase orders, receipts, or contracts
• Process credit card reports monthly, ensuring policy alignment
• Review and approve employee expense reports
• Maintain accurate vendor records and resolve payment disputes
• Participate in month-end close, ensuring accuracy and deadlines
• Support accounting team in preparing financial reports and KPIs
• Assist with 1099 tax reporting and documentation

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in Excel and other MS Office products
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and ERPs
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage large amounts of data effectively

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• College courses in relevant fields
• Experience with Intercompany invoicing
• Familiarity with tax forms and reporting
