About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Corporate Actions, Class Actions, Retirement Partner Programs, and Backdoor Roth processes, along with proven experience driving product strategy and agile delivery within financial services environments.
This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, operations, technology, and compliance teams to deliver scalable and compliant solutions supporting retirement and investment operations.|
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the product roadmap, backlog, and delivery for retirement and corporate actions initiatives
- Gather and translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Operations, Compliance, Technology, Risk, and Business stakeholders
- Drive enhancements related to:
- Corporate Actions
- Class Actions
- Retirement Partner Programs
- Backdoor Roth processes
- Lead agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and stakeholder demos
- Ensure alignment of product delivery with regulatory and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with technology teams on API integrations, workflow improvements, and operational automation
- Support UAT, production validation, and release management activities
- Monitor KPIs and product performance to drive continuous improvement
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience as a Product Owner / Product Manager in financial services
- Hands-on expertise in:
- Corporate Actions
- Class Actions
- Retirement Partner Programs
- Backdoor Roth
- Strong understanding of retirement and investment operations
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Ability to manage product backlog, priorities, and stakeholder expectations
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with business and technology teams in enterprise environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with brokerage, retirement, or wealth management platforms
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements within financial services
- Exposure to digital transformation or automation initiatives
- SAFe / CSPO certification is a plus
