The ideal candidate will be confident managing acutely ill patients independently, with physician backup available via pager. Schedule is 7 on 7 off (175 shifts per year) from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Responsibilities
- Provide overnight coverage for the ICU, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of critically ill patients.
- Perform and manage critical care procedures such as endotracheal intubation, central line placement, and arterial line insertion (with back up from ED and Anesthesia physicians)
- Collaborate closely with nursing staff, respiratory therapists, and attending physicians to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Respond to emergent situations and code blue calls as needed.
- Document all patient encounters accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Minimum of 1 year of critical care experience in an ICU setting required.
- Proficiency with critical care procedures, including intubation and central line placement.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
- ACLS certification required
