About the role... About the Role: We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled financial professional to be part of the FP&A team to serve as a strategic finance business partner. In this role, you will lead and influence key FP&A activities across multiple departments, including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and analysis, as well as support overall company FP&A initiatives. The successful candidate will provide strategic financial insights and guidance to enable the assigned departments and functions to achieve their goals and deliver on company objectives. The ideal candidate has a solid background in financial planning and analysis, demonstrates advanced accountability, strategic thinking, and cross-functional leadership, and can operate effectively in an environment of rapid growth and changing demands. Key Responsibilities: Serve as a trusted finance business partner to assigned departments and business areas, influencing decision-making and driving business performance Lead, direct, and coordinate the annual budget and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with company strategy Partner with department budget owners to provide strategic operational analysis, reporting, and insights to improve forecasting accuracy Direct the creation of long-range financial plans and modeling, contributing to company-wide strategic initiatives Build and maintain robust financial and analytical reporting models, and perform complex ad-hoc analysis to support strategic decision-making Act as a key advisor to the business, using financial expertise and problem-solving skills to constructively challenge and guide financial performance, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives Assist with high-level presentations and recommendations to the Leadership Team, Audit Committee, and Board Support and maintain enterprise-level financial and operational dashboards leveraging systems like Adaptive Insights, NetSuite, etc. Perform other FP&A duties and strategic projects as assigned You Bring: Motivation and hands-on mindset, capable of operating independently and guiding cross-functional teams Results-oriented and strategic thinker, with high personal initiative and focus on efficiency, continuous improvement, and long-term value creation Proven ability to translate complex analysis into actionable strategic recommendations that drive business performance Strong financial modeling and systems management skills including Excel and PowerPoint, and financial systems knowledge (Adaptive, NetSuite, or similar tools) Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to build and manage effective relationships across multiple levels and functions Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex, multi-department initiatives A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred) At least 8 years of relevant FP&A or strategic business partnering experience, preferably in a product-based or manufacturing environment; experience in a publicly-traded company is a plus Flexible US location; Boston area or West Lafayette (Indiana) preferred Inari is an equal opportunity employer.
