Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute strategic growth plans
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities with GCs, developers, owners, and facility managers
  • Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers
  • Consistently achieve or exceed revenue targets

Client Engagement & Market Presence

  • Lead client meetings, presentations, and pursuit strategies
  • Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and industry associations
  • Strengthen brand presence within target markets

Collaboration & Project Pursuit

  • Partner with estimating and preconstruction teams on proposals and budgets
  • Support contract negotiations and project acquisition
  • Ensure smooth transition from sales to operations teams
  • Drive a seamless client experience from pursuit to execution

Pipeline & Performance Management

  • Manage and track opportunities through CRM systems
  • Maintain accurate forecasts and reporting
  • Monitor performance against revenue and margin goals

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within:
  • Mechanical contracting (HVAC, plumbing, piping), OR
  • Commercial construction / MEP industry
  • Proven track record of closing deals and generating revenue
  • Strong understanding of construction lifecycle and delivery methods
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

Preferred Experience

  • Existing relationships within commercial/industrial markets
  • Experience with design-build, negotiated, and plan/spec projects
  • Exposure to estimating, preconstruction, or project management
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)

Salary : $100,000 - $200,000
