Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute strategic growth plans
- Identify and pursue new opportunities with GCs, developers, owners, and facility managers
- Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers
- Consistently achieve or exceed revenue targets
Client Engagement & Market Presence
- Lead client meetings, presentations, and pursuit strategies
- Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and industry associations
- Strengthen brand presence within target markets
Collaboration & Project Pursuit
- Partner with estimating and preconstruction teams on proposals and budgets
- Support contract negotiations and project acquisition
- Ensure smooth transition from sales to operations teams
- Drive a seamless client experience from pursuit to execution
Pipeline & Performance Management
- Manage and track opportunities through CRM systems
- Maintain accurate forecasts and reporting
- Monitor performance against revenue and margin goals
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within:
- Mechanical contracting (HVAC, plumbing, piping), OR
- Commercial construction / MEP industry
- Proven track record of closing deals and generating revenue
- Strong understanding of construction lifecycle and delivery methods
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Preferred Experience
- Existing relationships within commercial/industrial markets
- Experience with design-build, negotiated, and plan/spec projects
- Exposure to estimating, preconstruction, or project management
- Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
Salary : $100,000 - $200,000
