Role: Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Mayville, WI & Ripon, WI
Duration: Direct Hire
We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Mechanic to support equipment reliability in a seasonal vegetable processing facility. This role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment while ensuring safe and efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical equipment issues
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections
- Support production by minimizing downtime
- Maintain processing and packaging equipment
- Assist with seasonal startup and shutdown activities
- Follow safety, quality, and food safety standards
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Experience in automotive, agricultural, industrial, diesel, or general mechanical repair
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working extended hours during peak production season
- Reliable attendance and strong communication skills
Schedule
- Off-Season: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
- Production Season: Rotating 12-hour day/night shifts with overtime opportunities
