MIG WELDER

Job Position: Welder
Location: Bastrop, TX
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $30/hr – $37.5/hr
Shift: Night Shift (4 × 10-hour shifts)

• Perform MIG (GMAW) welding, fabrication, assembly, repair, and installation of large-scale structures and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment.
• Inspect completed welds and assemblies to ensure they meet specifications.
• Operate forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and general shop equipment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, management, and engineering teams.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience reading blueprints, specifications, and weld symbols.
• Experience operating forklifts and working around overhead cranes.
• Ability to weld in all positions and successfully pass an FCAW weld test.

• Night Shift
• Four 10-hour shifts per week (6:00 PM – 4:40 AM)

  • Monday–Thursday
  • Tuesday–Friday
  • Wednesday–Saturday
  • Thursday–Sunday
• Includes a 30-minute unpaid meal break.
