Location: Midwest US Region, In the field 60-80%, based out of the Indianapolis metropolitan area.

Position Description

As part of In-Situ’s Process Business, the ChemScan brand is a leader in the on-line analysis of water chemistry for the past 20 years.

This position reports to the Support and Service Manager. Initial training will be provided at one or more of the In-Situ Facilities, followed by joint customer site visits with other technical experts.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the team of technical experts providing technical support and field service for the full line of In-Situ Process Sensors and Analyzers (In-Situ, ChemScan and Partech products).
• Perform on-site installation, calibration, and training of process sensors and on-line water analysis instrumentation.
• Assist customers to maximize product reliability (usable data-up-time) through remote and on-site service and replacement parts.
• Coordinate with site owners and contractors to ensure successful equipment installation.
• Manage regional customer relationships to nurture service and support.
• Assist Regional Sales Manager with technical support and pilot/demo projects.
• Attend regular product and application training at an In-Situ Process facility.
• Maintain accurate field service kit inventory.
• Able to write detailed service reports detailing troubleshooting, parts used and analyzer data.
• Review with Customer on unmet needs, promotion of service offerings, and generation of leads and closure support for service jobs/offerings
  
  

Requirements

• The preferred candidate will have a strong technical background with good mechanical and electrical skills.
• Have completed a chemistry course with a basic understanding of photometric analysis.
• Have experience with industrial instrumentation including basic knowledge of PLC equipment communication.
• Have good communication skills and be proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office.
• Ability to travel approximately 60% to 80% of the time to customer sites in the local region with some occasional opportunities throughout U.S, Canada, and overseas travel.
  
  

In-Situ Process Products are used by many major municipalities across North America to help provide safe drinking water to the public. Our probes and analyzers are also used by waste-water treatment plants to produce clean water while minimizing energy and treatment chemical usage. Total Rewards

Compensation: Compensation will be commensurate with the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as alignment with market data and internal comps.

Salary Range: $65,000-85,000

Additional Compensation: Participation in a Company-sponsored variable compensation plan.
