Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bi-lingual Supervisor to oversee a caseload of 250 individuals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for supporting consumers and their family in the area.
Duties to Include:
1. Oversees, coordinates, develops, and evaluates the programs overall effectiveness to ensure all participants are adhering and abiding to the agency’s purpose, approach, legal and ethical standards, and all mandates within state and federal regulation policy and procedure as outlined in Title 17 State of California Department of Developmental Services (DDS).
2. Knowledge of and experience in all Title 17 regulations and mandates and ability to carry out such practices daily.
3. Follow all state and federal Electronic Visit Verifications (EVV) requirements. Update and maintain all EVV records.
4. Read through all referrals and call families to set up services. Which is to include service agreements, EVV documents and intakes.
5. Input all new staff and consumers into the EVV system.
6. Review new and updated authorizations and update area billing roster to reflect changes.
7. Maintain an excel spreadsheet (area roster) of consumers and staff hours, and other records.
8. Maintain all required excel spreadsheets assigned by Program director such as: available staff, referral tracker, payroll/billing audit, no authorization audit and consumer audit.
9. Maintain community programs report audit and ensure all progress reports are turned in by staff by required due dates.
10. Communicate with Inland Regional center caseworkers, parents, consumers, and administration staff over the phone and email.
11. Keep accurate communication logs and notes in the consumer’s file, document incidents/issues.
12. Maintain consumer records by requesting up to date intakes from families, CDER’s and IPP’s from IRC and update consumer audit.
13. Complete parent surveys according to the guidelines set by the Program Director.
14. Report all staff infractions, accidents, special incidents immediately to the Program Director/HR. Fill out the proper injury forms and follow Supervisor injury procedures.
15. Familiarize yourself with the knowledge of all In-Road’s policies, procedures, and work practices.
16. Responsible for maintaining consumer records, employee records / documents and ensuring they are HIPPA compliant.
17. Knowledge of the payroll systems functions, such as onboarding for new hires, talent profiles (staff certifications), and staff personal profiles
18. Hire and place staff with consumers. Provide new staff with required documents, training and orientate staff. Ensure all potential staff are screened and qualified
19. Collect and process all attendance, timesheets, and read case notes thoroughly and turn them in to the main office for processing by the scheduled due date.
20. Complete billing two times a month; ensuring that all paperwork is correct and billable. Refer to the guidelines for billing.
21. Maintain employee records such as training and documentation.
22. Provide Payroll with all new hire employment records, information on terminations/resignations for EDD purposes and any leaves of absences.
23. Assist all supervisors in facilitating bimonthly meetings with staff via in person or zoom.
24. Organize and plan staff parties for area staff twice per year (Christmas and staff appreciation)
Requirements:
1. Two or more years of work experience, with exposure in the field of Intellectual Disabilities.
2. Ability to carry out both written and verbal communication and instruction and add simple math equations. (Tasks include typing at least 50 wpm, proper use of grammar)
3. Computer knowledge of Microsoft office such as word and excel.
4. Ability to use office equipment such as copier, fax, and scanners.
