What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Coordinator position at In Place?
In Place is looking for someone who is highly organized and has a strong attention to detail. This person will be command central and will be responsible for bridging all divisions within the company. This flexible part-time position has the potential to become full-time for the right candidate.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Logistics
- Ordering, entering, and tracking of orders and deliveries for both projects as well as our retail space.
- Coordinating and overseeing receiving, deliveries and installations
- Communicating pricing and freight costs to team members
- Quality control – handle and communicate any damages or delays to project managers
- Assist with Vendor relationships and representatives
- Track budgets and deliver invoices and information to the bookkeeper to ensure on-time billing
Project Coordination
- Work with project managers to meet timelines and budgets
- Enter and manage specifications, selections, and product details to ensure information is organized and available to the team and project partners
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous administrative experience
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Enthusiastic, eager to learn, and a team player
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience in construction, interior design, marketing or retail is a plus
COMPENSATION
This is a part-time, hourly position. Compensation commensurate with experience.
