Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm to create a welcoming atmosphere
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and precision
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, while providing excellent customer service
• Assist with food preparation, food handling, and sanitation to uphold safety standards in the restaurant environment
• Clear tables efficiently by bussing and resetting for new guests, maintaining a clean dining area at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or quick service & fast food environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously in a lively setting
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with cashiering and cash handling procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest satisfaction
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing retail math when applicable
• Ability to adhere to food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling protocols
• Experience with serving in café or retail environments is a plus; familiarity with grocery store operations can be beneficial
