Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor patient health by taking vital signs and observing for changes in condition or behavior
- Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of living spaces through regular cleaning and sanitation tasks to promote hygiene and comfort
- Document patient observations, care provided, and any incidents accurately in compliance with healthcare standards
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement personalized care plans that address each individual’s unique needs
- Provide emotional support and companionship to foster social engagement and reduce feelings of isolation
- Follow all safety protocols including CPR and First Aid procedures to ensure client safety at all times
Qualifications
- Prior experience in group homes, assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, and hospice care is advantageous
- Ability to perform tasks as needed for patient transfers or mobility assistance
- Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing changes in health status
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and families
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges
- Experience working with seniors or individuals requiring long-term care is highly valued

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
