Mobile IV Therapy Nurse

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Mobile IV Therapy Nurse to provide in-home and community-based intravenous therapy services. The ideal candidate will possess extensive nursing experience across various clinical settings, including critical care, emergency medicine, and outpatient care. This role involves administering IV infusions, managing patient assessments, and ensuring the highest standards of infection control and patient safety. The Mobile IV Therapy Nurse will work independently, delivering personalized care to diverse patient populations, including geriatrics, pediatrics, and individuals with disabilities or chronic conditions.

Responsibilities

• Administer IV infusions, injections, and medications following aseptic technique and medical protocols.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, anatomy knowledge, and physiology evaluation.
• Manage catheter care, venipuncture, and IV insertion with precision and adherence to infection control standards.
• Monitor patient responses during treatment sessions, providing immediate intervention for adverse reactions or complications such as acute pain or airway issues.
• Document all procedures accurately within EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks.
• Educate patients on post-treatment care, medication management, and health coaching strategies tailored to individual needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams in hospital settings such as Level I Trauma Centers or teaching hospitals when necessary for complex cases like trauma medicine or infectious disease care.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and Workers' Compensation law while ensuring patient confidentiality.
• Travel to various locations for in-home visits or outpatient clinics providing services such as dialysis support, hospice & palliative medicine, or geriatrics care.

Requirements

• Valid RN license with current state licensure or valid LVN or LPN license with IV certification.
• Liability insurance of up to $1M through a credited provider.
• Proven experience in critical care environments such as ICU or emergency room settings; experience with Level I Trauma Centers is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
• Experience administering injections, phlebotomy, tube feeding management, ventilator support, and ostomy care is advantageous.
• Ability to perform physical examinations and vital signs assessment accurately.
• Excellent patient assessment skills with a focus on working with diverse populations including pediatrics (neonatal ventilator), seniors (memory care), or individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Capable of working independently in various environments such as assisted living facilities or home & community care settings.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS are a plus.
• Must pass background checks prior to employment. Compensation & Revenue Streams

• 50% of service fees and product profits
• 100% of tips and travel fees
• Weekly direct deposit with tiered travel fees
• Uncapped earnings potential
• Additional revenue opportunities: nutralipid, iron therapies, weight loss injections (Semaglutide, Lipo-Mino), referral bonuses, and group/event services

Structure & Readiness

• 1099 contractor role—LLC or corporation setup permitted for compensation,but nurses must operate and do business as In Home Infusion
• Nurses must be financially and logistically prepared to acquire supplies and meet demand
• Full inventory required within 7 business days of onboarding to ensure rapid deployment and service quality
