Responsibilities
- Assist with supervising children during playtime, meals, naps, and educational activities to ensure safety and engagement.
- Support classroom management by helping organize activities that promote childhood development and learning.
- Implement age-appropriate instructional activities focused on preschool and toddler care, fostering curiosity and skill-building.
- Contribute to a positive classroom environment through behavior management techniques that encourage cooperation and respect among children.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or classroom settings is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to provide infant care, toddler care, or preschool supervision with patience and compassion.
- Certification in first aid and CPR (including pediatric first aid) is required or willing to obtain upon hire.
- Must meet KDHE requirements.
Pay: $13.00 per hour
