Location: Remote
Territory: Middle and Southern California
We are seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to drive business growth within the construction and telecommunications markets. This remote role is responsible for developing new business, managing customer relationships, and supporting sales activity throughout the assigned California territory. The ideal candidate is self-driven, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers throughout the assigned territory
- Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities to meet and exceed sales goals
- Manage the sales process from lead generation and quoting to order placement and follow-up
- Coordinate customer quotes and orders with inside sales, customer service, project management, and accounting teams
- Partner with sales leadership on key account development and sales strategy
- Assist with collection efforts on past-due customer accounts when needed
- Maintain accurate records of customer activity, calls, visits, and pipeline updates in CRM
- Participate in weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales and staff meetings
- Meet KPI expectations, including customer outreach, sales visits, and new account development
Qualifications
- Previous outside sales experience required; experience in construction, telecommunications, or related industries preferred
- Proven ability to generate new business and grow customer accounts
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage a sales territory independently and stay organized in a remote environment
- Experience using CRM systems such as HubSpot preferred
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory

90-Day Performance Expectations
- 4 new customers transacting per month
- Minimum of 25 phone calls logged in CRM per week
- Minimum of 25 sales visits logged in CRM per week
Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
