Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a hands-on Mechanical Design Engineer who enjoys being directly involved in bringing mechanical systems and equipment to life. This role is perfect for someone hungry to learn and grow, who thrives on solving problems on the floor and collaborating with teams across the organization.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop automated machinery, tooling, and complete mechanical systems.
- Create detailed 2D/3D CAD models and drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Be on the floor working with Assembly, Machining, and other teams to troubleshoot and refine designs.
- Build and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs) and documentation in ERP/PDM systems.
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing, QA, Customer Service, and Assembly.
- Communicate with customers and suppliers to review requirements and provide technical support.
- Support drawing revisions, ECO/ECR processes, and updates to manuals.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (required).
- 3–5 years of experience in Machine Design and/or Tooling Design.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD (3D 2D).
- Experience designing complex assemblies and complete system layouts.
- Comfortable in a hands-on environment, working directly with equipment and mechanical systems.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Someone who is curious, driven, and eager to grow professionally.
