Phlebotomist

Key Responsibilities

·       Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures on patients of all ages

·       Accurately label, process, and transport specimens

·       Maintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality at all times

·       Verify patient identity and ensure proper documentation

·       Follow infection control and safety protocols

·       Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure efficient workflow

·       Maintain equipment and supplies

Required Qualifications

·       Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience (hospital, commercial lab, or blood bank)

·       High School Diploma or GED with completion of a Phlebotomy Program

·       Phlebotomy Technician Certification (CPT) – required

·       AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – required

Schedule & Shifts

·       Full-Time: 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours/day)

·       Available Shifts:

o   5:00 AM – 1:00 PM

o   8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

o   4:00 PM – 12:00 AM

·       Workdays: Monday–Friday
