What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Auditor position at IMS MARKETING INC?
This is NOT a remote job. Qualified applicants must be willing and able to interview and work in the Amarillo, Texas office.
Assist other auditors in performing audits of financial statements and internal controls.
Collect and analyze financial data, documents and reports.
Prepare audit work papers and ensure proper documentation of audit procedures.
Support in identifying discrepancies and errors.
Communicate findings to senior auditors and management.
Maintain organized files and records of audit activities.
Assist in testing and evaluating internal control systems.
Stay updated with current auditing standards and accounting principles.
Eligible applicants will have a basic knowledge of accounting principles, strong attention to detail and analytical skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with heavy emphasis on Excel, possess good organizational and time management skills, have the ability to work independently and as part of a team and have excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.
