We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join the Retirements Fleet in a fast‑paced, Agile environment. This role requires a highly seasoned professional who can effectively function across multiple roles—including Business Analyst, Project Manager, and Scrum Master—while partnering closely with business and technology stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will bring strong financial services and banking domain expertise, with a deep understanding of the banking technology landscape. This individual will analyze complex business requirements, translate them into clear and actionable technical specifications, and collaborate with globally distributed teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Apply functional expertise within an Agile squad to deliver customer outcomes and business value

Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize initiatives and define clear business goals and deliverables

Provide domain knowledge to help the team understand “what” needs to be built

Translate business requirements into technical specifications to clarify “how” solutions will be implemented

Remove delivery obstacles by proactively engaging stakeholders and establishing clear system interfaces and handoffs

Collaborate with upstream and downstream systems and teams, including Data Warehouse, Loan IQ, and General Ledger (GL) systems

Actively participate as a member of a Banking Agile Squad

Work within Agile development methodologies, partnering with global business and technology teams

Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and system requirements

Create detailed user stories in JIRA, workflow diagrams, and solution requirement specifications

Partner closely with QA teams to review test cases and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders

Communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams and senior stakeholders
Required Skills & Qualifications

5 years of experience working as a Business Analyst

Strong understanding of system‑to‑system integrations, interfaces, contracts, and sequence diagrams

Knowledge of systems design fundamentals, including microservices architecture

Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills

Ability to interpret complex business needs and translate them into technical and operational requirements

Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills

Self‑motivated, innovative, and capable of working independently and collaboratively

Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

Proficiency with MS Office tools: Excel, Project, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint

Hands‑on experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment

Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
