Our sales team consists of 9 reps with a mix of industry veterans and developing talent.


THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a hands-on, entrepreneurial Sales Manager to lead and improve our sales operation.

This role is not about maintaining a team, it’s about:

  • Driving growth
  • Improving rep performance
  • Building a more consistent and scalable sales system

You will be responsible for running our Sales Operating System, which includes:

  • Account tiering (Tier 1–4)
  • Weekly sales cadence
  • Rep scorecards
  • Account growth strategies
  • Stock program expansion


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - WHAT YOU'LL OWN


1. Run the Sales Operating System

  • Lead weekly sales meetings focused on performance and action
  • Track and manage rep scorecards (revenue, pipeline, account growth)
  • Enforce accountability and performance standards


2. Drive Revenue Growth

  • Increase revenue per sales rep
  • Improve performance consistency across the team
  • Identify and execute opportunities to grow existing accounts


3. Coach and Develop Sales Reps

  • Conduct weekly 1:1 coaching sessions
  • Improve rep performance in: account development, upselling and cross-selling, pipeline management
  • Support both experienced and developing reps


4. Manage Account Strategy

  • Ensure all accounts are properly tiered and actively managed
  • Drive movement of accounts up tiers
  • Focus team efforts on high-value opportunities


5. Expand Stock Program

  • Grow adoption of our stock program across key accounts
  • Increase order frequency and predictability
  • Identify accounts best suited for program-based selling


6. Stay Close to the Market

  • Attend trade shows and key customer meetings
  • Work alongside reps in the field
  • Develop deep understanding of: customers, product mix, buying behavior


7. Collaborate Cross-Functionally

  • Align with operations and production to ensure execution
  • Communicate customer needs and opportunities internally
  • Help balance sales growth with operational capacity


QUALIFICATIONS


Required

  • 5 years of sales leadership or senior sales experience
  • Experience managing or coaching a team of 10–15 reps
  • Background in: promotional products, consumer goods, wholesale / retail sales
  • Proven ability to improve team performance (not just personal sales)


Preferred

  • Experience in custom products or manufacturing-driven businesses
  • Experience working with both retail accounts and distributor channels

  • Increase average revenue per sales rep
  • Improve consistency across the team
  • Drive movement of accounts into higher tiers
  • Expand stock program revenue
  • Contribute to growing the business from $15M to $20M
