- Offer direct support to individuals with disabilities, fostering independence while ensuring safety.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to hygiene standards.
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including accompanying clients to appointments or social activities.
- Engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities to promote mental well-being.
- Follow established care plans and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home care, assisted living, or personal care settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of ADLs and the ability to assist clients effectively.
- Familiarity with first aid practices and emergency response protocols.
