Salary: $55,000 - $85,000 commission

The Operations Manager, Maintenance is responsible for overseeing the full scope of landscape maintenance operations, ensuring daily field activities are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. This leadership role aligns operations with customer expectations, business goals, and safety requirements. The Operations Manager, Maintenance provides direct oversight of crews, supports customer satisfaction initiatives, contributes to financial performance, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement across the branch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight and Efficiency: Lead multiple maintenance crews as the Operations Manager, Maintenance, coordinate workflow, and ensure on-time, high-quality job completion.
- Quality and Safety Assurance: Maintain proactive job site safety and equipment care; enforce safety standards through audits and coaching.
- Customer Coordination and Satisfaction: Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure service quality, resolve issues, and identify enhancement opportunities.
- Financial and Resource Management: Monitor labor and material usage, validate job costing, and ensure accurate documentation for payroll and billing.
- Strategic Communication and Collaboration: Act as a liaison between crews, Account Managers, and leadership; identify opportunities for sales and process improvements.
- Talent Acquisition and Development: Support hiring, onboarding, and development of crew leaders and technicians; conduct performance check-ins and drive team improvement.
- Seasonal Operations Management: Oversee snow operations during winter months, ensuring safety and effective execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred (Horticulture or related field ideal) or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of landscape industry experience with strong knowledge of maintenance operations.
- 2-3 years of leadership experience managing crews or field operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling tools.
- Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
