What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Architect/Project Manager position at Imprint Architects?
Imprint Architects, an award winning architecture firm located in Ankeny, Iowa, is seeking a Project Architect/Project Manager working on projects from concept to completion and will be involved in every aspect of the design and construction process. If you are an independent, self-motivated individual this is your chance step into a leadership role in a fun and progressive design firm.
Duties:
- Work closely with Design Principal and Junior Staff to complete great projects
- Meet with clients to discuss program, goals, budgets, etc.
- Design great buildings and complete comprehensive construction documents.
- Review drawings for compliance with client goals, accuracy, completeness, and quality control
- Monitor construction results as compared to drawings and specifications; solve design/construction issues.
- Provide project information by collecting and summarizing data
- Continuously update professional knowledge.
- Assist with business development, marketing, & client relations
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelors of Architecture Degree or similar education
- 10 years' experience
- Licensed Architect in Iowa or other state or country.
- Proficient in REVIT. Adobe Apps, and Microsoft Office, including Excel, would be a plus.
- Ability to analyze construction details and work with junior staff on how to communicate these into a set of documents.
- Candidate must demonstrate a professional demeanor with superior client relations, customer service skills, problem solving, issue resolution, as well as written and oral communication skills
- Excellent time management skills. Must be able to work efficiently and productively with little to no supervision
- Organized, detail-oriented individual that can multitask and meet deadlines
