IMPOWER is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to join the team at The Grove, our adolescent residential substance abuse treatment program serving youth ages 13-17. In this role, you will provide on-site primary care services as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team, supporting the physical health and overall well-being of adolescents in a structured therapeutic environment.
This is a part-time, daytime position with Friday availability required. There may be opportunities for additional days depending on program needs.

Physician Assistant – The Grove

Key Responsibilities
- Provide primary care services, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatment under the supervision of the Medical Director
- Complete medical evaluations (history & physicals) within 72-hours of admission
- Collaborate with clinical staff and leadership on treatment planning and medical care
- Communicate with families/guardians regarding care, follow-ups, and medical concerns
- Perform routine clinical procedures (vitals, blood draws, injections, TB testing, UAs, etc.)
- Prescribe medications in accordance with state regulations and facility protocols
- Order, review, and communicate lab results
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Support medication administration processes and review MARs
- Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, licensing, and IMPOWER standards
- Current Physician Assistant Certification (PA-C)
- Active Florida Physician Assistant License
- Current CPR certification, NPI, and DEA registration
- Minimum of 2 years of PA experience
- Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or urgent care preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration skills
- Successfully complete a Level II background screening, local law check, and drug screen
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance
