Location: Jersey City, New Jersey (Hybrid)

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Business Development Executive to drive net-new business development and strategic growth across the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance sector.

This role is ideal for a highly motivated hunter who enjoys opening doors, building executive relationships, and helping enterprise clients solve complex business challenges through Data, AI, Cloud, and Digital Transformation initiatives.

You will work directly with senior sales leadership, solution architects, and delivery teams to identify opportunities, shape solutions, and drive revenue growth within some of the largest financial institutions in North America.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, and FinTech organizations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with executive stakeholders including CIOs, CTOs, Chief Data Officers, Heads of Digital Transformation, and business leaders.
  • Generate and manage a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Develop account penetration strategies for target clients and greenfield accounts.
  • Lead discovery conversations focused on business outcomes and technology transformation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, delivery, partner, and leadership teams to develop compelling client solutions.
  • Drive opportunities through the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through contract execution.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM discipline.
  • Stay informed on industry trends across AI, data modernization, cloud, analytics, and digital transformation.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2 years of business development, enterprise sales, or consulting sales experience.
  • Proven experience selling technology services, consulting services, cloud solutions, data platforms, analytics, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success developing new business and building executive-level relationships.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across global teams.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling into Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or FinTech organizations.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience selling Data & AI services, analytics, modernization, or enterprise consulting solutions.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise buying cycles and complex sales motions.
  • Experience working with global delivery organizations and matrixed teams.
