Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income, and cash flow statements.
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Conduct account analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts to support financial planning and decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and provide insights for business performance evaluation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and company policies.
- Participate in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Support the preparation of audit schedules and assist auditors during financial audits.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.
- Proficiency in Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or other accounting software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial management practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills to identify issues and propose solutions.
- Knowledge of financial analysis techniques and forecasting methods.
