Job Title: Process Engineer

Location: Springboro, OH
Salary: $90,000 – $110,000
Schedule: Full-time, flexible start time (8-hour shift beginning between 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM, Monday–Friday)
Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Process Engineer to support and improve manufacturing processes within a growing production environment. This role focuses on optimizing workflows, reducing variability, and improving product quality through data-driven process improvements.
You will work cross-functionally to enhance process stability, increase efficiency, and support the introduction of new processes and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to reduce variation, defects, and inefficiencies
- Lead and support continuous improvement (Lean) initiatives across production
- Monitor process performance and identify opportunities for optimization using data analysis
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to ensure process reliability
- Develop, document, and standardize operating procedures and best practices
- Support the implementation of new processes, equipment, and technologies
- Investigate root causes of process issues and implement corrective actions
- Assist with equipment troubleshooting, including PLCs, servo systems, and electrical components
- Provide training and guidance to production teams on process improvements
- Maintain clear documentation of processes, changes, and project updates
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field
- 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or process-focused role
- Experience with PLCs, servo systems, and industrial electrical components
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
- Ability to interpret and act on production and process data
- Effective communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
- Strong attention to detail and process discipline
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Physical Requirements
- Regular standing, walking, and use of hands for tools and equipment
- Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work on the production floor for extended periods
- Visual ability for both detailed and distance work
Work Environment
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and moving parts
- Occasional exposure to dust, fumes, noise, and varying temperatures
- Moderate noise levels typical of industrial settings
