Field Installer
Imperial Systems is seeking a self-motivated field equipment installer.
Job Description
- The position entails installation of industrial ventilation equipment such as hanging ductwork, installing fans, and rigging equipment.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, rigging/equipment layout, and cement work is a plus.
- Acquaintance with of use of equipment such as a transit, welder, hand tools, forklifts and man lifts considered a plus.
- Working in customer’s facilities and abiding by all safety regulations.
- Must have good communication skills, professional self-presentation, clean driving record.
- Experience working with little to no supervision and good time management.
- Travel is a requirement.
- Mechanical aptitude, knowledge of basic math principles to include trigonometry and linear measurements.
- Experience reading blueprints and showing aptitude in spatial reasoning skills is a plus.
- Ability to lift 50lbs pounds from ground to overhead.
REQUIRED
- Clean driver’s license
- High school or equivalent.
- Ability to obtain a passport.
- Ability to obtain OSHA 10 Certification
- Ability to obtain qualified rigger and signal person qualification.
