As a subject matter expert on your assigned product lines, you'll play a key role in driving product additions, supporting sourcing decisions, maintaining key documentation, and helping to deliver a seamless experience for both internal stakeholders and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support the new product addition process, ensuring customer needs and market opportunities are met with an eye on gross profit margins.
- Serve as the primary contact for product requests from Sales and Procurement.
- Negotiate pricing and lead times with suppliers and set SKU pricing in collaboration with the Pricing Team.
- Handle intake requests from Category Managers and other teams, including product inquiries, discontinued items, image procurement, and more.
- Support the Sourcing process, collaborating with internal teams to determine product availability, lead times, and competitive assortments.
- Oversee new supplier setup, ensuring all documentation and processes are completed accurately.
- Review inventory and sales reporting to monitor and follow up on new product status.
- Coordinate and execute customized/logo product requests.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by sharing best practices and participating in global product opportunity discussions.
- Participate in special projects and assignments as needed.
- Assist with other related duties to support the broader Product Management team.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in Distribution, Product Management, Marketing, Customer Service, or Sales.
- Strong collaboration, prioritization, and critical thinking skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing.
- 1–3 years of product experience in a distribution environment.
