Seasonal Customer Service Representative — Imperial Pools, Inc.
Latham, NY | $18–$22/hr | Full-Time Seasonal (April–October)
ABOUT US
Imperial Pools is a wholesale distributor providing local contractors and retail outlets with the products they need for swimming pool and spa installation, maintenance, and enjoyment. The pool industry is growing fast, and our peak season is when it all happens.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are hiring Seasonal Customer Service Representatives to join our Latham branch team from April through October 2026. This is a seasonal position designed to support our busiest months. Top-performing seasonal employees will be considered for full-time conversion with our complete benefits package at the end of the season.
Starting pay is $18–$22 per hour, commensurate with relevant experience and skill set.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Interact with customers by phone, email, and in person at the counter
- Enter sales orders and quotes for swimming pool and spa products
- Invoice orders and prepare paperwork for customer deliveries
- Prepare HazMat shipping documentation
- Process RMAs (returns) and resolve order issues
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Assist with general office duties and filing
- Coordinate with other branches and corporate offices via email and phone
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required:
- Reliable transportation to and from our Latham, NY branch
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for the full seasonal term (April–October)
- Dependable, punctual, and able to thrive in a fast-paced team environment
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Preferred:
- 1–2 years of experience in retail or distribution sales
- General office or customer service experience
- Experience in the swimming pool, spa, plumbing, irrigation, or HVAC supply industries (a plus, not a requirement)
