Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation
- Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure health standards are met or exceeded
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents safely and effectively for floor care and surface cleaning
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, polishing, and specialized floor care techniques
- Manage manual handling tasks involving lifting equipment or supplies with proper safety precautions
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service during each visit
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or janitorial cleaning environments with knowledge of custodial procedures
- Strong understanding of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning, and outdoor work experience if applicable
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, equipment maintenance, and sanitation standards
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes
