What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting, Collections position at Imperative Logistics?
Accounting, Collections is responsible for managing and collecting all outstanding accounts receivables from clients and customers. In addition, this individual be responsible for other aspects of collections, resolving customer billing problems and reducing the amount of accounts receivables. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts. Investigate historical data for each debt or bill. Find and contact clients to ask about their overdue payments. Take actions to encourage timely debt payments. Process payments and refunds. Resolve billing and customer credit issues. Update account status records and collection efforts. Report on collection activity and accounts receivable status. Comply with all TrumpCard policies and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS High school diploma, AA degree or commensurate years of experience. Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques (e.g. skip tracing). Familiarity with laws related to debt collection (e.g. FDCPA). Working knowledge of MS Office and databases. Comfortable working with targets. Patience and ability to manage stressful situations well. Excellent communication skills (written and oral). PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The position is in an indoor, office environment, requires the ability to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors verbally and in writing, sit for periods of time, operate typical office equipment which requires seeing and the use of a keyboard.
