As a Billing Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring our billing processes are accurate and transparent. You will audit our systems, resolve discrepancies, and be a trusted resource for our clients.
Hybrid role in our Syracuse, NY or Burlington, VT office.
- Audit billing systems and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and client contracts.
- Identify and document billing variances, collaborating with team members to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Maintain clear records of audits, corrections, and validations for compliance and continuous improvement.
- Support system updates and new product launches by testing and validating billing processes.
- Serve as a friendly, knowledgeable point of contact for client billing questions or concerns, providing timely and professional responses.
- Assist with monthly close activities and internal/external audits.
- Ensure customer billing records are updated.
- Prepare reports related to billing discrepancies and solutions.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in billing, accounting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data validation and reconciliation.
- Experience with Salesforce is a bonus.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
