Job Overview
InTouch Healthcare Solutions is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our home health agency. This role is essential to ensuring smooth office operations, efficient staffing and scheduling, excellent client service, regulatory compliance, and strong team performance.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Experience in home health, home care, healthcare administration, or a related field is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the home health agency
- Manage staffing coordination and scheduling to ensure timely and appropriate client coverage
- Support client intake, onboarding, and service coordination processes
- Monitor workflow efficiency and implement improvements where needed
- Supervise administrative and operational staff to ensure accountability and performance
- Maintain organized client and employee records, both electronic and paper-based
- Ensure compliance with agency policies, state regulations, and industry standards
- Address operational issues, client concerns, and staffing challenges in a timely and professional manner
- Prepare and review reports related to staffing, scheduling, service delivery, and operational performance
- Collaborate with leadership to support agency growth, quality improvement, and service excellence
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in operations, office management, healthcare administration, home health, home care, or a related field
- Prior supervisory or management experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, scheduling systems, and healthcare software or EMR systems preferred
- Knowledge of home health or home care operations, compliance, and client service standards is a plus

Work Location
This is an in-person position based in Greenbelt, MD. Some local travel to Virginia may be required depending on agency.
