Marina Facilities and Operations

IMPAG HR Solutions, LLC
Annapolis, MD Full Time
POSTED ON 7/23/2026 CLOSED ON 8/6/2026

What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marina Facilities and Operations position at IMPAG HR Solutions, LLC?

About the Role

We are seeking a versatile, proactive, and exceptionally capable Marina Facilities & Operations Lead to anchor our team at our premier boutique waterfront property. This role sits at the intersection of daily marina management, hands-on technical maintenance, and high-touch guest service.

We are looking for a true problem-solver who doesn’t just diagnose a maintenance issue, but rolls up their sleeves to fix it. From managing daily slip flow and servicing dock pedestals to troubleshooting office HVAC units and pitching in on site upkeep, you will be the operational linchpin ensuring our facilities consistently match the elevated standards of our clientele. Because boating peaks when our guests are at leisure, this position requires a reliable commitment to working weekends (both Saturday and Sunday).

Key Responsibilities

1. Marina Management & Day-to-Day Operations

  • Manage daily slip flow, vessel arrivals and departures, and dockage logistics to ensure seamless, organized waterfront traffic—with a strong physical presence during peak weekend hours.
  • Monitor dock safety, utility usage (power and water), and environmental compliance across all piers.
  • Oversee seasonal marina transitions, including spring commissioning, winterization, severe weather preparation, and routine security checks.
  • Serve as an internal hub for daily operations, keeping communication flowing smoothly between management, staff, and slip holders.

2. Hands-On Facility Maintenance & Repair

  • Take ownership of site troubleshooting and execution, handling minor repairs end-to-end and tackling intermediate maintenance challenges in-house before calling in external help.
  • Service and repair dock electrical pedestals, replace outlets and switches, and address waterfront lighting issues safely and effectively.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and perform baseline repairs on climate control systems (such as office split-system units) and other facility mechanics.
  • Coordinate and oversee external vendors, managing larger outsourced projects (major structural or complex electrical work) from access to completion.

3. Guest Relations & High-Touch Service

  • Deliver a warm, professional, and sophisticated hospitality experience for all slip holders, guests, and visitors during high-traffic weekend periods.
  • Act as a dependable on-site presence, professionally fielding tenant inquiries, coordinating service requests, and maintaining positive client relationships.
  • Uphold marina policies gracefully and diplomatically to preserve a quiet, orderly, and premier environment.

4. Site Upkeep & Humility in Action

  • Maintain an immaculate physical standard across all shared spaces, including clubhouse areas, restrooms, docks, and grounds.
  • Bring an "all-hands" mentality: no task is beneath this role. Whether it is power-washing a dock, clearing debris, or assisting with detailed cleaning, you take pride in the holistic presentation of the property.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Practical Technical & Trades Experience: Proven background in general maintenance, facilities management, or property upkeep. Demonstrated capability with basic electrical work (outlets, pedestals), light plumbing, and system diagnostics (HVAC).
  • Operational Adaptability: Strong organizational skills with experience managing daily site flow, schedules, or logistics in a fast-paced environment.
  • Schedule Flexibility & Commitment: Availability to work a full-time schedule that routinely includes weekend work on both Saturdays and Sundays, aligning with peak boating activity.
  • Customer-First Deportment: Highly professional, polished communication style suited for a high-end demographic.
  • Strong Work Ethic & Humility: A self-motivated team player who balances independent operational leadership with a willingness to get their hands dirty.
  • Physical & Environmental Agility: Ability to work outdoors in all seasonal Maryland weather conditions, stand/walk for extended periods, navigate docks safely, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Why Join Us?

  • Competitive compensation package commensurate with experience.
  • A beautiful, high-end waterfront work environment with a collaborative, close-knit team.
  • Direct autonomy and ownership over the facility’s day-to-day excellence.
