Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician
1st Shift (Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm, weekends as needed)
Pay: Starting at $26-27 per hour based on experience

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, proactive, and experienced in industrial or commercial electrical maintenance.
 
Key Responsibilities:

· Performing repairs and installations of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems with assistance from the Mechanical Engineer.

· Repair fixtures of various materials

· Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools, power tools, and reassemble equipment.

· Supports individual departments by performing essential Preventive Maintenance (PM) on various equipment.

· Inspects mobile equipment and performs required PM’s to ensure functionality

· Provides emergency attention and repairs of equipment to maintain production.

· Read and interpret facility blueprints

· Oversee work being completed by outside contractors

· Source parts, supplies, and equipment from catalogs and suppliers

· Maintain stock of items such as but not limited to tooling, equipment, supplies, etc.

· Be capable of troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems without assistance

· Flexibility to work overtime as needed

· Additional duties to be assigned as required

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

· Basic knowledge of power tool repair

· Intermediate knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics

· Intermediate ability to read blueprints

· Intermediate knowledge of mechanical systems

· Intermediate knowledge of electrical systems

· Ability to read mechanical and or electrical drawings

· Able to multitask

· Able to work with a variety of company levels (daily interface depending on assigned tasks)

Personal Qualities/Behaviors:

· This position will have exposure to the manufacturing areas where, under certain areas, the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and mandatory hearing protection are required.

· Ability to stand, bend and walk for extended periods of time.

· Able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds occasionally and up to 25 pounds frequently.

Qualifications:

· Training in a relevant field

· 3 years working in maintenance or technical schooling

· Strong documentation skills required

· Must be able to work independently
