ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST
Job Summary
This role plays a key part in maintaining the financial integrity of our business and offers exposure to complex reconciliations, audits, and consolidations across multiple entities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare complex monthly bank reconciliations for local and corporate accounts
- Assist with interfund, custodial cash reconciliations and company financial consolidations
- Reconcile various P&L and Balance Sheet accounts (debt, cash, prepaids, etc.)
- Support the Finance team with insurance accruals and payments
- Administer retirement plans
- Assist in preparing audit workpapers and reviewing month-end reconciliations
- Reconcile real estate tax payments, accruals, and prepaids
- Collaborate with Chief Financial Officer on review processes

Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required;
- Preferred minimum 3 years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and audit prep
- Proficient in accounting software and advanced Excel functions
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset, and time management
- Strong communication and strategic thinking skills
- Successful completion of background checks and reference verification
