Our client, a multibillion-dollar Texas based Food & Manufacturing company is seeking a Payroll Coordinator for a 1 year contract working on-site in Irving, Texas.
The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for completing payroll functions & related tasks such as directed by the Payroll Manager in addition to daily duties and responsibilities.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Must have experience with UKG Ready (Workforce Ready) and ADP GlobalView (SAP)
• Manage payroll for assigned locations/pay group for manual entries/corrections,
including but not limited to:
• Correct Connector/upload errors
• Update Costing in HCM
• Update manual entries for terms, new hires
• Update union information (dues, insurance, misc. deductions)
• Update recurring pay elements as sent by HR or locations
• Create off cycles for processing
• Correct/Update information in ADP as required for timely and accurate processing
of payroll
• Process time files for upload to Payroll Vendor
• Review audit reports and make corrections as needed.
• Process banking/3rd party returns
• Returned ACH
• Check reissue requests
• Returned 3rd party payments.
• Oversee Garnishment process in SmartCompliance
• Scan & remit order received
• Monitor classification of garnishment type
• Respond to requests for info from ADP.
Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll processing and payroll tax.
• Union experience a plus!
Preferred Qualifications
• Solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
