This role is ideal for someone who has led full-cycle recruiting in high-growth environments and is ready to shape the hiring strategy, process, branding, and scaling efforts alongside the founding team.
Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle recruiting for Engineering, Product, and Go-to-Market roles
- Manage 8–12 active searches and deliver 10–15 hires per year in competitive markets
- Build a scalable recruiting process including sourcing, assessments, and candidate experience
- Lead sourcing efforts through direct outreach, network mapping, referrals, and recruiting tools
- Partner closely with founders on headcount planning, organizational structure, and talent priorities
- Drive diversity and inclusion across hiring pipelines and process design
- Provide ongoing talent market insights on compensation, competitors, and candidate trends
- Track and optimize recruiting KPIs (conversion rates, source effectiveness, time-to-fill)
- Support employer brand and storytelling to attract top and underrepresented talent
- Lay the foundation to hire and lead a recruiting team as the company scales
- 5–10 years full-cycle recruiting in high-growth startups (Series A–E preferred)
- Demonstrated success hiring across technical GTM roles
- Experience building recruiting processes or operating in an early-stage talent environment
- Strong sourcing capabilities across platforms (Greenhouse, Ashby, Gem, HireEZ, etc.)
- Data-driven, process-oriented, and comfortable setting up recruiting systems & metrics
- Ability to communicate a compelling vision and sell candidates on opportunity and upside
- Thrives in high-velocity, ambiguous startup environments
- Build the recruiting function from scratch
- Work directly with founders on org and hiring strategy
