- COMPENSATION: $32.00 – $36.00/hour base rate $3.00/hour shift differential ($35.00 – $39.00/hour effective pay) tiered milestone cash bonuses for voluntary overtime hours full benefits package.
- WORK SCHEDULE: 4-Day Work Week | Monday – Thursday (3:00 PM – 1:00 AM) | Enjoy a guaranteed 3-day weekend every week, with 100% voluntary overtime available on Fridays.

What You Will Be Doing (Daily Responsibilities)
- Execute Independent Machine Setups: Set up, adjust, and operate CNC machining equipment independently based on engineering blueprints, job routing sheets, and technical work instructions.
- Operate Advanced Multi-Axis Machinery: Run a variety of high-end machinery, including Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs), Horizontal Machining Centers (HMCs), and Mazak horizontal/vertical turning centers.
- Part Verification & Precision Quality: Load, execute, and monitor custom, close-tolerance runs to ensure all components are produced perfectly to print and quality specifications.
- Maintain Dedicated Workstation Ownership: Own your workstation under the "home machine" program by tracking tool wear, performing minor operator-level machine maintenance (checking fluids, filters, coolant), and keeping a clean, safe cell.
- Collaborate for Floor Efficiency: Partner with the second-shift lead and a dedicated maintenance department to optimize machine uptime and maintain steady workflow across the shop floor.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements & Qualifications)
- 3 to 5 Years CNC Setup & Operation Depth: Verifiable, hands-on experience setting up and operating VMCs, HMCs, and multi-axis turning centers utilizing Fanuc or Mazatrol controls.
- Print Reading & Precision Inspection Literacy: Strong technical blueprint reading skills paired with the ability to layout and verify part dimensions using micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, and bore gauges.
- Stable Employment History: A solid work record demonstrating personal reliability, strong attendance habits, and long-term commitment to past employers.
- 2nd Shift & 4x10 Schedule Alignment: Full commitment to the fixed 2nd shift schedule (Monday – Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM), with the lifestyle alignment to capture high-earning voluntary Friday overtime.
- Proactive & Accountable Mindset: High level of personal accountability, independent problem-solving instincts, and genuine pride in craftsmanship.
Preferred Technical Assets (Bonus Skills)
- Technical Credentialing: Technical school diploma, Associate Degree, or formal apprenticeship completion in CNC Machining or Precision Tooling.
- Control Edit Capabilities: Proficiency in reading G-code and M-code to execute minor program edits at the control to optimize cycle times.
- Mazak Turning Depth: Direct setup experience on Mazak multi-axis or twin-spindle turning equipment using Mazatrol conversational controls.
