The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial preferred) is required to be considered
- 5 years of Quality Engineering experience within a high-precision manufacturing environment (Stamping, Blanking, or Automotive experience is highly preferred)
- Pay is up to $95,000 annually based on experience level
- High growth potential for this newly created position and backup to the Quality Manager
- Full-time, Permanent W-2 employee

The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following:
- Lead full-lifecycle quality assurance from initial design through fine-blanking and final delivery, ensuring the highest standards of product reliability and excellence
- Develop and implement advanced quality control plans, inspection procedures, and testing methods for both new and existing precision product lines
- Serve as the site Metrology SME, overseeing scientific measurement applications and ensuring total accuracy and traceability across the manufacturing floor
- Execute complex root cause investigations and CAPA using 8D, 5-Whys, and Fishbone methodologies to drive permanent process resolutions
- Leverage SPC, Minitab, and data analytics to identify trends, monitor performance, and provide a primary technical interface for customer quality inquiries
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or a related technical field)
- 5 years of progressive Quality Engineering experience within a manufacturing setting; experience with IATF 16949 or AS9100 is a major plus
- Deep technical proficiency with SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, and PPAP processes
- Hands-on expertise in metrology and the application of units, methods, and standards for precision metal parts
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
- A desire for career advancement; we are looking for a "higher-level" candidate who can grow into a Quality Management role
- Solid residency within a 45-minute drive of the Cottage Grove / Madison, WI area
