Lead Die Designer (Extrusion) – Concept to Production

• 3 or more years of dedicated experience designing and developing complex profile tools from initial concept to production is a requirement for this position
• Your specialized knowledge of multi-polymer extrusion and die geometry will be the key driver of our production excellence and technical innovation
• Pay is up to $90,000 annually
• Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder
• This position is onsite and not remote
• Full-time, permanent W-2 employee

This full time, permanent Lead Die Designer (Extrusion) is at a growing, very flexible, employee-friendly, ISO certified manufacturer of plastic extrusion products. This position could grow into a department head position, if that is of interest. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate should include the following:

• Creating plastic extrusion tooling designs for profile extrusion, co-extrusion and tri-extrusion
• Directing the designing, building, modifying, installing and maintaining efforts
• Working with the manufacturing team to troubleshoot and improve production processes
• Assisting machine operators and machinists
• Adjusting the extrusion tooling

The background of the successful candidate must include the following:

• 3 years of plastic extrusion tooling design experience for profile extrusion, co-extrusion and tri-extrusion
• 3 years of strong extrusion processing experience
• A solid work history
• A US citizen or possess a green card
• A residence within 45-minutes
