What you will be doing
- Overseeing all aspects of capital equipment projects from initial planning through final commissioning
- Coordinating directly with customers, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to drive project success
- Establishing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and quality standards across concurrent programs
- Performing engineering calculations for key components and actively tracking project costs
- Organizing installation requirements and providing on-site supervision during field commissioning
- Communicating across all departments on timelines, budgets, and logistics to ensure on-time delivery
What we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering discipline
- 5 years of project management experience focused on custom or industrial capital equipment
- Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and lead multidisciplinary teams in the field
- Stable work history with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to travel 20–40% across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico — valid passport required
- Clean criminal record required due to customer facility access policies
- U.S. citizen or Green Card holder residing within 45 minutes of the Greater Appleton area
Strong pluses (not required):
- Sheet metal fabrication or heat recovery system experience
- SolidWorks familiarity or experience working alongside design engineering teams
- Background in machine tool rebuilding, retrofitting, or industrial equipment lifecycle management
