Location: Huntsville, AL & Surrounding Areas (This position is for our Huntsville location, not Athens)
Earning Potential: $100K annually (most representatives achieve this within their 1st year)
Job Type: Full-Time - 100% Commission Sales - Reports to Sales Manager

We are looking for a Roof Specialist (Sales Associate) to join our team! This is a dynamic, field-based sales role where you will be meeting with pre-qualified leads, conducting roof and attic inspections, and providing homeowners with expert guidance on their roofing needs.

This position is ideal for motivated sales professionals who enjoy working independently, have strong negotiation skills, and can build lasting customer relationships. No prior roofing experience? No problem—we’re willing to train the right candidate with relevant sales or construction industry experience.

What You'll Do

• Meet with customers at their homes to assess roofing needs, explain available solutions, and provide estimates.
• Perform roof and attic inspections, which require climbing ladders and navigating confined spaces.
• Communicate effectively to educate homeowners on products, services, and the benefits of our roofing solutions.
• Work on pre-scheduled appointments generated through company leads.
• Be on-call to respond to emergency needs during severe weather.
• Develop rapport with customers and guide them through the sales process, addressing any concerns or objections.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Utilize industry-specific software (Sales, CRM, Estimating tools) to track leads, appointments, and customer interactions.
• Organize and prioritize daily schedules to ensure prompt follow-ups and successful deal closures.
• Spend time between customer appointments and the local office for team meetings, training, and sales strategy discussions.

What We’re Looking For

• Sales experience: Minimum 1 year in service-based sales (roofing sales highly preferred, but other construction/home improvement sales considered).
• Strong communication skills: Ability to engage customers, explain solutions, and build trust.
• Honest, Ethical, and Respectful: Conduct business with integrity and professionalism at all times.
• Friendly and Helpful Community Servants: Committed to assisting homeowners in making informed decisions while fostering trust and positive relationships.
• Comfortable with hands-on inspections: Must be physically capable of climbing ladders, walking on a roof and entering attics to assess roof conditions.
• Self-Driven & Proactive Sales Pros: While we provide pre-qualified leads, we seek individuals who take the initiative to find additional sales opportunities. On slower days, those who proactively generate leads through networking, referrals, and community outreach will see the biggest paychecks. Your income is directly tied to your ability to close deals—the more you sell, the more you earn!

• Tech-savvy: Experience using CRM and sales software for tracking leads and customer interactions.

• Transportation: A truck is highly preferred to carry necessary equipment (such as ladders) to customer locations.
