POSITION: ACT Team Leader
SUPERVISOR: Director, LMHP
SUPERVISEE: Overall supervision of all team activities, direct supervision of all program functions.
DUTIES: Under the direction of the agency, Director, LMHP, and within the limitations of agency policy, the incumbent shall execute the following duties:
· Assess individuals for eligibility to receive ACT services following Department of Behavioral Health and DMAS guidelines
· Meet with the ACT Team as scheduled to ensure the needs of individuals receiving services are met, monitor and approve ISP goals for appropriateness, and ensure service provision is effective.
· Provide individual, group, and family therapy
· Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner.
· Provide case supervision and support to ACT Team members.
· Crisis Intervention as needed
· Monitor all case coordination
QUALIFICATIONS: The incumbent must be a licensed mental health professional with strong interpersonal, time management, and writing skills. Must hold at minimum a Master of Social Work degree from an accredited school of social work or a Master of Counseling, Master of Psychology, or a related Human Services field. Candidates must be in good standing and registered with the Virginia Licensing Board. Possession of a current, valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Must submit and pass criminal and central registry background checks.

- Development and implementation of ISPs
- Knowledge of Admissions and intake procedures
- Knowledge of all Agency Policies and Procedures
- Strong Clinical Writing Skills
- Strong Interpersonal and Counseling Skills
- Effective Communication Skills
- Attend and participate in ACT team meetings as scheduled
- Ability to Adhere to Documentation Deadlines
- Ability to work effectively individually and as a team member
- Ability to provide team cohesion
In addition to the above knowledge, skills, and abilities, the ACT Team Leader will have at least three years of work experience in the provision of supervision of a mental health program providing services to adults with serious mental illness. IMHS ACT Team Leader is a full-time position.
