About Impact Equities Impact Equities is a vertically integrated NYC real estate investment and development firm with $250MM in career acquisitions. We focus on ground-up residential development, value-add multifamily, and distressed and pre-foreclosure acquisitions across NYC and other select out of state markets.
The Role We're hiring an Acquisitions Associate to drive off-market deal flow. You'll own the top of the funnel: identifying owners of distressed, mismanaged, or development-ready properties, building outreach lists, making first contact, qualifying leads, and walking opportunities to LOI. You'll work directly with the CEO and our underwriting team on every live deal.
This is the right seat for someone competitive and persistent who wants to build a career on the principal side of NYC real estate.
What you'll do
- Source off-market opportunities through targeted outreach (call, email, direct mail, door-knocking)
- Build owner-contact lists from public data (ACRIS, HPD, DOB, DOF) and proprietary lead-gen
- Make initial owner contact in English and Spanish; qualify motivation, timeline, and price
- Hand qualified leads to the underwriting team and stay involved through LOI and contract
- Track all activity in Salesforce; report weekly on pipeline metrics
- Build and maintain a network of brokers, attorneys, and contacts in target neighborhoods
What we're looking for
- Fluent in English and proficient in Spanish ( — most of our target submarkets demand it)
- Working knowledge of NYC and outer-borough residential markets
- Comfortable with high-volume cold outreach and rejection
- Self-directed; thrives without a manager standing over you
- Sharp written and verbal communication
- Familiarity with NYC public records (ACRIS, DOB, HPD) is a plus
- Real estate sales, brokerage, or principal-side experience is a plus, not a requirement — we'll train the right hustler
Compensation Commission-only to start, with strong upside on closed deals. Base salary is on the table once you've proven the ability to source deals we close.
