SUMMARY
Impact Confections is seeking a creative, energetic, and detail-oriented Content Strategist to bring our brands to life through engaging digital content. This role is responsible for planning, creating, and publishing content across multiple social media platforms to increase brand awareness, grow audience engagement, and showcase our products. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, photography, videography, and staying on top of social media trends. They are creative, organized, and excited to develop content that captures attention and drives engagement. This is a hybrid position but must be available for on-site work at our Janesville, WI production facility at least two days per week.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create engaging photo and video content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Develop and execute a monthly social media content calendar aligned with marketing initiatives and product launches.
- Edit photos and videos using industry-standard editing software.
- Monitor social media channels and engage with followers by responding to comments and messages as appropriate.
- Stay current on social media trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to increase audience engagement.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Operations to develop content supporting business objectives.
- Track and report social media performance metrics, including engagement, reach, and audience growth.
- Assist with marketing campaigns, promotional events, trade shows, and product launches.
- Ensure all content complies with company branding, food safety, confidentiality, and quality standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience creating content for social media platforms.
- Experience with photography, videography, and video editing.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, or similar creative software.
- Knowledge of social media analytics and scheduling platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Performs basic database updates, queries and searches, and printing of documents/reports. Knowledge of MMS programs.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to communicate with co-workers and/or read instructions or written standards for production in English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to perform or learn basic mathematic skills as needed, such as basic accounting terminology.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out basic step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or limited variables.
