Position Summary: The Creative Director is called to serve as the worship and creative ministry leader, team builder, and production ministry for Impact Church. This position oversees the creative expression of the church — including worship ministry, production, online church, and social media — to ensure consistent vision, excellence, and gospel-centered clarity across all platforms.
Ministry Department: Worship
Position Reports To: Lead Pastor with direction given from Worship Eldership
Hours: This is a full-time position. Attendance is required for: Sunday services, rehearsals, and other special events.
Responsibilities And Duties:
Worship and Creative Leadership
- Serve as the primary worship leader and team builder, recruiting, auditioning, and developing worship and production volunteers.
- Lead weekly worship services in collaboration with the Lead Pastor and pastoral team.
- Plan and execute creative elements for Sunday gatherings and special events (Easter, Christmas, Anniversary, Kickoff, Nights of Worship, etc.).
- Coordinate rehearsals, musical arrangements, and service flow for weekly services.
- Mentor and disciple worship team members in both spiritual growth and worship leadership.
Creative Arts, Production, and Digital Platforms
- Oversee all creative elements for the church — including video, stage design, and service presentation.
- Lead the church’s digital presence, including website, social media, and online church platforms, ensuring brand consistency and engagement across all channels.
- Collaborate with ministry leaders to promote events, sermon series, and ministry initiatives.
- Manage and train volunteers for creative and production teams (sound, lighting, video, media).
- Research and implement new creative tools, production technology, and software (e.g., Planning Center, ProPresenter, Ableton, etc.).
Team and Leadership Development
- Build a strong culture of worship and creativity marked by humility, excellence, and collaboration.
- Lead worship and creative team meetings for training, prayer, and development.
- Provide leadership opportunities for volunteers and emerging creatives within the church.
- Encourage and facilitate original songwriting and creative collaboration within the worship team.
Administrative and Collaborative Responsibilities
- Meet weekly with the Lead Pastor for service planning, evaluation, and vision alignment.
- Participate in all staff meetings, planning meetings, and church-wide events.
- Manage and steward the Worship and Creative Ministry budget effectively.
- Uphold confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism in all matters.
- Support other ministries with creative or technical assistance as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Lead Pastor.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proven ability to lead worship both vocally and instrumentally.
- Strong understanding of modern worship culture and theology.
- Oversight of creative communications (social media, web, video, and photography).
- Skilled in technology, including Planning Center, ProPresenter, Ableton, and livestream software.
- Strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Creative thinker who can translate vision into clear, compelling worship strategies.
- Ministry experience in worship or creative leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Ministry, Worship, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Work performed primarily in an office, church facility, or worship environment.
- Some physical exertion required during worship services, rehearsals, and event setup/tear down.
- Requires availability on weekends and evenings for services and ministry events.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
